Congolese singer and The Voice Finalist Mamido Bomboko Souchu to perform at the prestigious Beaujolais Nouveau celebration in Atlanta
Congolese singer and The Voice France finalist Mamido Bomboko Souchu will for the first time be performing at the Beaujolais Nouveau celebration taking place on November 17 at the Intercontinental hotel in Buckhead, Atlanta.
Mamido who moved to Atlanta with her husband Karim Souchu a former professional basketball player, grew up in Kinshasa but later moved to Belgium and France. She has been featured in numerous advertisements for brands such as Coca-Cola Co. and Volkswagen and worked with the likes of Pascal Obispo and Wyclef Jean.
Hosted by the French-American Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Dior, the Beaujolais Nouveau event combines the traditional welcoming of the Beaujolais Nouveau with tastings of other wines and specialties of France. The release of the Beaujolais Nouveau wine is a unique tradition that is shared amongst the international communities.
